Side Hinged Garage Doors – Basic Operation
The most straightforward garage door is a side hinged door, and this is not exactly the most popular option today but there’s no reason why it shouldn’t be considered. If you’re a keen biker or you often use the garage for pedestrian access, then this door can be ideal.
You simply open up one door for pedestrian access or bringing a bike in; while two doors can be opened to give access to a vehicle. These doors may be quite basic in terms of operation but they are secure, especially when they’re built of solid timber.
There’s no doubt that these doors can compliment traditional buildings, and you do get quite a unique style, while there are different designs to choose between, and a range of materials that can be used, including steel, timber, upvC , GRP and aluminium.
