Remote Control Operation – The Norm for Roller Doors

The majority of roller garage doors are manufactured with electronic operation, meaning you can open the garage door whilst you’re seated in your vehicle. It’s a safe and secure way to enter your home and it should be a necessity if you live in a high-crime area.

Remote control operation is now fitted with sectional doors and round the corner doors among others, and it’s fair to say that it’s the norm for contemporary garage doors. That said, the number of up and over doors are not decreasing. If you have a large driveway then an up and over door may be ideal as you don’t need to park extremely close to garage, but these do not tend to be fitted with electronic operation.

The type of door you decide on should link to your area. If you have a gated driveway and you’re not regularly storing anything in your garage then an up and over door can be a good solution, but if you’re always in and out of your garage then a roller door with remote operation is an extremely practical solution.
