Keeping your garage clutter free is great for you and your door
It’s known that gardens can quickly become cluttered, especially if they’re not solely used for vehicle storage. Here in the UK it’s more common for a garage to be used as a utility room, storage area or even a home gym, but whatever you use your garage for, keeping it clutter free can be extremely beneficial, not just for your own peace of mind, but your door too. The more clutter you have in your garage, the more dust exists, which isn’t too friendly for the mechanisms in the garage door, but if you maintain this space regularly it won’t be too much of a problem. Then there’s the space issue. It’s so easy for garages to fill up with clutter, but that often means moving items too close to the garage door and the last thing you need here is contact with heavy items when you open or shut the door.
The garage door requires a good amount of space around it, especially if it’s a sectional or roller door, so keeping your garage clutter free will definitely serve you better in the long run.
